Be the change you want to see in the world

Afternoon Kandies

Its Thursday again and time for my weekly update on what i think is interesting. I hope you guys have had a lovely week and that its about to get better. In case you were wondering,i wont only up once a week, ive just been tied up with tests and even i am a little busy,il post alot of new stuff so as to keep it fresh and "fantabulous"!!

I woke up really inspired today,I remember something that Michelle Obama said when she came to South Africa and that is the title of this post "Be the change you want to see in the world".One thing that you guys should know about me,in case you haven't picked it up yet is that im obsessed with "Legacy", Ive gotten it in my head that I'm a SUPERBEING such as Nelson Mandela and the late Steve Jobs, a pioneeer of im not sure what and that i will change the world and be remembered for centuries after my time. With that said,i truly believe there's greatness in all of us and if we would just tap into it,delve a little deeper, dream a little bigger, try a litttle harder,we would be SUPERBEINGS.

As i mentioned,i am a little fanatical about this subject but it just amazes me that we live in this world that's always evolving, better and new things always popping up.To think there was a time without electricity, cars, computers, cellphones and all the wonderful inventions that fuel our sedentary lifestyle(LOL!Its true though,we are very lazy but brilliant) and one day someone woke up with an idea to alter the comfort of the world they were living in.I really feel if that spark can be in a handful of us,surely its in us all? Yes,you are looking around after having read that sentence and thinking "No way its in this douchebag im sitting next too" and i agree, some people don't look it,its really really really deep inside. o_O

Its a rife notion especially in South Africa and yes, particularly black people, who endured a lot living in the Apartheid regime, that you have to wait for the next person to do something for you.We look to our neighbours, the government and people overseas to disengage with what they are doing and care about what might be bothering you.Come on people!!We have the same hours as they do,lets make it count.

To my South Africans, our forfathers fought for freedom, they were brave, resilient, able to forsee a time in which they werent living in.We,luckily, do not have to do that anymore but lets make up for that with a million mega watts of ingenuity, gusto and greatness.

It all starts with us.Think of all that bothers you and see what you can do about it or meditate on what you feel its missing in the world and "free fall into the unknown|"

"Thats all i have to say about that"
